John B. Cooke, 89, a long-time resident of Fountain Hills, AZ, passed away on Saturday, September 21, 2024.
Born October 8, 1934, in Poughkeepsie, NY, John was the son of the late John C. and Bess (Burr) Cooke. He was married to his childhood sweetheart Helen Patrick for 69 years and she survives him at home.
John is also survived by his children: son, John Patrick Cooke and daughter, Mary C. Cline (husband Robert); his younger sister, Grace Ann Beers (husband Stan); as well as several nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. John's elder sister Betty Smith (husband Sam) predeceased him.
A memorial service will be held at the Anglican Church of Atonement in Fountain Hills, AZ. Graveside services and interment in Pawling NY.
