The Republican Women of The Hills (RWOTH) will hold its annual fundraiser Thursday, Oct. 10, at the Desert Canyon Golf Club, 10440 N. Indian Wells Drive, from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m.

The guest and presenter will be bestselling Author C. R. Stewart who will talk about his Lost Crown series of books involving adventures on a worldwide stage with an emphasis on empowerment, creativity, patriotism and critical thinking skills.

Stewart has 20 years of experience in writing fiction, non-fiction and movie screenplays.

He is a writer, producer, creativity specialist, international consultant and prominent speaker.

The Britfield and the Lost Crown series of books has transformed literature and learning while bringing encouragement and entertainment to children, teens and adults worldwide, according to a press release.

Many have enjoyed his fast-paced, action-packed pages while learning about history, geography, architecture, culture, patriotism and empowerment.

Stewart has asserted that the entire educational system has been based on a questionable hierarchy, often placing conformity above creativity.

He believes that instead of nurturing future leaders, the educational system may actually foster complacency, the release added.

The cost to attend the event is $100 which includes a taco bar.

Proceeds from the event help to fund the RWOTH’s outreach system, communication efforts and educational goals.

It is not necessary to be a RWOTH member in order to attend the event. Both men and women are welcome.

The first 30 attendees to sign up for the fundraiser will receive a free autographed book from the Lost Crown series. The premiere sponsor of this event is Pool and Landscape AZ.
