I just have to send out a huge thanks to Gary with Fountain Hills Snake Control! The kids call him a superhero! A snake showed up in a populated area of Fountain Park last week, and Gary was a huge help!
We were enjoying our OYO Frozen Yogurt on the back patio overlooking the Fountain and splash pad, when all of a sudden someone yelled snake! There was a large snake coiled up in the bushes right in the middle of the patio.
There were many kids around as well as tourists; instantly we thought to call Gary. He took information about the snake and identified it correctly over the phone. He also instructed us to keep everyone away and he would be there shortly. It wasn’t even three minutes and he showed up with his equipment and pulled out a five-foot long Red Racer. The snake tried biting Gary many times, but he remained calm and took care of business! He was in and out in no time at all.
After Gary left, we all had a great story to tell our friends over the weekend.
